Clarinet Studies

Aside from being great piano teachers, several of our instructors are professional clarinet players. If you are a beginner, we can get you on the right track to learn the right way. If you already play, our teachers can help you improve, prepare for exams (NYSSMA), and college auditions.

Our teachers belong to a variety of professional organizations

  • Music Teachers National Association
  • New York State Music Teachers Association
  • Westchester-Rockland-Putnam Music Teachers Association

Our program in Clarinet Studies covers all aspects of playing – technique, repertoire, sight-reading, chamber skills and more.

In addition to regular weekly lessons with a world class clarinettist, we also offer 10-pack lessons for anyone wishing to boost their skills over a shorter term, prepare for an exam or audition, learn parts for a school production or concert, or just explore the instrument in depth.

Our Teachers

We take great care and effort to match every student and family to the right teacher through interviews, consultations and trial lessons. All instructors are experienced, qualified pianists who will make sure that your child has fun, and most importantly learns the right way, avoiding bad habits that inevitably become road blocks to progress and enjoyment.
